Abbild is a simple, beautiful backup app for Mac. Choose a folder, choose where it should
go, and Abbild keeps it safely copied on a schedule. Every copy is a normal folder you can
open in Finder, with no special format and nothing to restore.
Set it once, Then forget it
Back up daily at a time you choose, or every few minutes. Abbild runs in the background and
from the menu bar, starts with your Mac if you like, and lets you know when a backup
finishes or needs attention.
Two ways to back up
Standard keeps a dated full copy each time, so you can go back to how a folder looked
on any day. Files that haven't changed are shared between copies, so every copy is
complete but takes far less time and space.
Smart keeps one folder perfectly in sync, copying only what's new or changed. Changed
files are replaced in one step, so an interrupted backup never leaves a half-written file
behind.
As many places as you need
Send each backup to several destinations at once, such as an external drive, an iCloud folder
or a network share. If one drive is unplugged, the others still finish, and Abbild will autonomously add the latest when it’s reconnected. The destination manager shows what's online, how much space is free,nd every copy kept in each place.
